Everytime I go here I'm greeted with professional staff and outstanding service! The servers are very respectful and appetizers and entrees come out at perfect times. The food itself all brings up unique flavors and I encourage trying new things each time as there's so much to the menu! The inside of the restaurant takes Japanese themes and incorporates a sort of modern style to it that fits the location and time. It's a staple when I'm at the spectrum, I highly recommend it!

We came here today for lunch on a Friday for our first time, we loved it! The food was outstanding! We ordered the calamari, tempura shrimp, salmon skin salad, a flambé volcano roll and a sashimi platter. Everything was dynamite! Now the salad was so fresh and that salmon skin was so good! It was a large portion enough to share or for two meals for me anyway. The calamari was lightly fried not too much batter, as well as the tempura shrimp, the roll was so cool served on fire at the table! The sashimi was fresh and high quality, we loved our first visit and would definitely come back. Our service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable and wonderful to look at. Our bill was not bad for three people 115.00, so overall I think prices were reasonable as well. It fed 3 people and we had leftovers.

Well...Consistency is the standard for this elegant casual dining locale. The service was attentive, prompt, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Good value for a high-quality dining experience. I had the sashimi salad, which came in a beautiful presentation and the taste matched the look. This casual dining Irvine Spectrum establishment checks the boxes. Good stuff!

I love to eat here whenever I visit Spectrum. The restaurant is always very clean and the service is great. If there is a waiting list and you don't want to wait, you can usually sit at the bar. It's the same service, and you can order anything off the menu. Most of the time, my friends and I will opt for that option if the wait is more than 30 min I highly recommend the deluxe bento. It's a lot of food and enough for two ppl to share if you want. We also ordered the volcano roll, which is delicious! When the volcano rolls first arrived at our table, it was on fire, and it usually lasts for about a min before it goes away on its own. It's really great for pictures. Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely be back again.

My mother and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here! Service was wonderful, our food was made to order quickly. They have such a wonderful variety of their menu, not just sushi. Salad was an extremely generous portion and plenty to share. I suggest ordering a variety of dishes to be able to sample more. Very beautiful restaurant with plenty of indoor as well as outdoor seating.recommended for a quality meal in the area!

I really enjoyed the food. The sukiyaki udon was just what unwanted with the broth and the noodles. The beef was how I remember my favorite sukiyakis. Pacing of the meal was off, my wife and son had sushi rolls, but I had finished my whole bowl of sukiyaki before a roll came. It's a chill place to eat- inside or outside.

Located in Irvine Spectrum next to black dot coffee. Decided to get some lunch. Service fast. Friendly host. They have indoor and outdoor seating area and also bar. We ordered: Natsu salmon roll - its their summer special, we like it, it's refreshing Sashimi roll - its ok, nothing special Chincaron salmon skin salad - we like it a lot except they overly dressed the salad. Vegetable tempura - nicely crispy not oily Squid ink uni - it taste like Alfredo, nah. We got mochi ice cream for my d birthday. Overall ok.

Squid Ink Uni Pasta: This is an iconic item that uses an uni cream sauce but I found it to be a little too watery and the uni was subtle. What I do recommend is... Mentaiko and Shrimp Cream Pasta: This was the superior pasta and it's a spring 2024 seasonal item so you have to try it before it's gone. The shrimp were so plump and succulent and the mentaiko cream sauce was so good. Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice: I highly recommend ordering this as an appetizer. They were some of the biggest ones I've seen and they stayed crispy. RW Sashimi Platter: A great sharing plate for the table or maybe for just one person if you're in the sushi mood. Unagi Don: I love eel and although the slices were thin, they seasoned it well. Salmon Oyako Don: Oyako means parent and child in Japanese so this dish features salmon sashimi and salmon roe over rice and I loved it. Toro & Yellowtail Belly Sushi: I saw another review saying the toro was incredible so I had to order it myself. I wish the slices were thicker but he was right, it was delicious. I also added on a yellowtail belly because why not? The service was so nice and my whole party felt welcomed and well taken care of. The food came out in rounds but with a good pace in between. We went on a Monday night so neither the inside nor outside seating area was crowded but I can imagine it being crowded during the weekends.
